My grandfather sailed on the Upson ca. 1916-1918. His name was Duncan Anderson. He was certified as an oiler.
My Dad was a cook on the Upston about that time!
I have a photos [ marked #15573] dated 1940, Oct. 29 of A.T. Kinney by American Studios Lacrosse WI of vessel in dry dock on water and crew members.
