Struck breakwater leaving Gary IN July 12, 1973 and when she returned to Duluth MN she could not pump out her ballast before reloading. After inspection at shipyard, laid up at Duluth and did not sail again..
Sold for scrap 1975 to Hyman-Michaels Co. Scrapped at Duluth.

My brother-in-law’s grandfather “brought her out.” They loaned his diary to one of the maritime museums for transcribing (not sure which one). I kicked myself for missing a color slide of her on eBay a while back.
