Caught fire and sank Aug 7, 1894 20 miles off Fourteen Mile Point near Ontonagon MI, Lake Superior. Enroute from Port Huron MI to Duluth MN with cargo of salt. Crew took to lifeboats and were rescued the next day by str. George Spencer. Enrollment surrendered Sept 30, 1894.
