Looking for a crew list for this ship. Great Uncle was a crew member.
Send me your e-mail address and I will send you the names from the original newspapers.
I would also like the bio information on your relative that was on the Owen.
I am doing research on the crew members.
Thanks,
Jim Couch
Who was the ship John Owen named after? My great, great grandfather was John G. Owen, a Michigan State Senator froom 1861 – 1862.
A relative, John Leonard Forschner, was on the John Owen which was lost with all hands. Is his name and age on your list?
