Foundered Oct 1, 1910  30 miles off Thunder Bay Light, Lake Huron.  Sprang leak.  Torch lit to attempt to summon help set fire to vessel.  Enroute from Detroit MI to Owen Sound ON with cargo of coal.  Crew rescued by str. Mataafa and barge Alexander Holley.  Enrollment surrendered March 31, 1912.
