Sold 1948 to Canada Steamship Lines, Montreal QC to replace lost Emperor and renamed Martian (2)

Converted to package freighter 1950 at Midland ON by Midland Shipbuilding Co.

Sold for scrap 1969 to Marine Salvage Ltd., Port Colborne ON.  Resold to Italian shipbreakers.  Sailed to Sorel QC, where she was laid up for the winter.  Cleared Sorel June 8, 1970 with Mathewston under tow of Polish tug Jantar and arrived Vado, Italy July 16.
