Sold 1940 to Nicholson Transit Co., Detroit MI (home port to Detroit MI)
Requisitioned 1942 by U. S. Maritime Commission for service during World War II

Converted to refuse barge for use on the Detroit River. Later used as temporary breakwater on Lake Michigan and finally as part of a dock at Frankfort MI.

I was so thrilled when I found this site with the Adrian Iselin listed. My grandfather worked on this ship in the early 30’s and I have not been able to find photos or info on it. Is there a larger photo that I can view or purchase to add to my genealogy? Thanks again. This made my day!!
