Stranded Oct 31, 1885 on Dover’s Point at the southwestern tip of North Manitou Island, Lake Michigan in snowstorm.  No lives lost.  Enroute from Chicago IL to Buffalo NY with a cargo of corn.  Towing schooner Geo. W. Adams, which was released.  Enrollment surrendered Oct 31, 1885.
