Struck Canoe Rocks near Isle Royale, Lake Superior June 4, 1947 in fog and sank. Twelve of 33 aboard lost. Downbound from Port Arthur ON with iron ore for Ashtabula OH. Broke in two after stranding and sank, the after end the first to sink.
