  1. My great grandfather Eugene Clarke was a ship captain on The Great Lakes iut of Buffalo until 1936 when he was run over by a trolley on New Years Day and died. It is my understanding he captained the Erastus Corning. Do you have any information on either him or the ship? I have a crated oul painting of the ship. Thank you. Mary Clare Vogt

  2. Hi My Father Harold Ordway at the age of 16 in 1944 was a merchant marine (hand) on the Edmonton or the Robert Hobson. Wondering if I could find his name on a ship’s log some how.
