Sold for scrap 1975 to Marine Salvage Ltd., Port Colborne ON.  Renamed Marinsal (Can 348596) and chartered to St. Lawrence Seaway Authority for use in a test of shunters to move vessels through the Welland Canal locks more efficiently.

Sold 1980 to Italian shipbreakers.  Cleared Quebec QC May 31, 1980 with str. Royalton in tow of German tug Hanseat.  Tow arrived LaSpezia Italy June 25, 1980 for scrapping.
