Upper cabins severely damaged July 29, 1971 at Manitowoc WI while she was at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co. undergoing general repairs and engine overhaul. Did not operate again
Sold for scrap 1973 to Marine Salvage Ltd., Port Colborne ON. Resold to Spanish shipbreakers.
Cleared Quebec QC June 29, 1973 with str. John P. Reiss towed by Polish tug Koral. Tow arrived Castellon Spain July 1973

Does anyone have pictures of seagate stove in during Armistice Day Storm 1940 ?
I was Porter, Deck Hand, and Car Handler (Boxcar Wrangler) on her back in 1970 and 1971. I also got a chance to helm the ship in the open lake from time to time. H
