Toured this ship at open house when bottom was repaired in drydoc.Enjoyed it very much.L
I grew up in Marine City, Michigan in the 70’s & 80’s. The Belle River was always my favorite ship to see. The curved bow & size put me in awe. I am currently on vacation in Michigan, after 35 years, & sure would love to see her. Thanks for info.
I moved to Duluth, MN bc my husband worked on the Belle River & she made a regular port there in 1985. Id always wondered what became of her.
I worked on this ship fresh out of high school before going to college. Remarkable vessel.
