Transferred 1965 to parent Algoma Central & Hudson Bay Railway.
Sold for scrap 1985 to Marine Salvage Ltd., Port Colborne ON. Resold to Spanish shipbreakers. Cleared Quebec QC July 16, 1985 with MV Saginaw Bay under tow. Tow arrived Vigo Spain Aug 8, 1985

By the way, it is a trunk deck, not truck. Put in to increase bulk cargo capacity, not to get involved with vehicles.

my maiden name is Barber
I had the pleasure of working on the E B Barber as a tech rep for General Regulator Company working on the boiler automation at Collingwood Shipyard in the 70s
At one time I had a photo of the ship given to me by the CE . The photo was taken by a photographer that watched for Great Lakes ships passing and he would have a nude lady stand on the shore line with the ship in the background. I think my x wife did something to the photo .
