Laid up late in the 1857 season because of the Panic of 1857 and did not operate on the Great Lakes again.
Sold 1858 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes. Down St. Lawrence River June 1858.
Renamed Coatzacoalcos 1859
Burned April 11, 1869 at San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Enroute light from Panama to San Francisco CA, stopped for bunker coal and caught fire at the dock.
