Entered service May 30, 1895 carrying iron ore from Duluth MN to Ashtabula OH

Permanent enrollment at Buffalo NY March 10, 1896

Rammed Aug 10, 1899 and sunk by her barge 131 in the Southeast Bend of the St. Clair River opposite Star Island Hotel.  No lives lost.  Raised and returned to service.

Fleet sold 1900 to Bessemer Steamship Co., Cleveland OH (home port to Duluth MN)

Fleet merged March 1901 into Pittsburgh Steamship Co., Duluth MN, a subsidiary of United States Steel Corporation, A. B. Wolvin, Mgr.

Wrecked Oct 13, 1909 on Rocky Reef near Isle Royale, Lake Superior.  No lives lost.  Upbound with cargo of coal.  Abandoned to the underwriters as constructive total loss.  Enrollment surrendered Aug 9, 1910.  Salvaged 1910 by F. S. Wiley, Port Arthur ON and towed there for repairs.

Sold 1912 to Canadian Northwest Steamship Co., Port Arthur ON, Thos. Marks & Co., Mgr. (home port to Port Arthur ON)

Sold 1917 to Montreal Transportation Co., Montreal QC

Assigned 1918 to off-Lakes service.  Cut in two at Cleveland OH by American Ship Building Co., towed to tidewater and rejoined.

Damaged by fire 1922 in Halifax NS and not repaired.  Scrapped at Halifax 1935
