Sunk June 19, 1917 in collision with steamer Eastern States off Ecorse MI, Detroit River. No lives lost.
Vessel sailed off channel on Canadian side of river to avoid sinking in steamer channel and sank.
Abandoned to underwriters as a total loss. Sold at auction by underwriters and bid in by A. B. Mackay, her former owner for resale for off-Lakes service during World War I. Raised and towed to Toledo OH and repaired by Toledo Shipbuilding Co. Left Great Lakes early 1918.
