Sunk July 24, 1902 in collision with str. Fred Pabst in fog off Spectacle Reef, Lake Huron. Enroute from Escanaba MI to Cleveland OH with cargo of iron ore. Pabst upbound with coal. Crew took quickly to lifeboats and were picked up several hours later by tug Parker and taken to Alpena MI. Enrollment surrendered March 31, 1903.
