Sunk Aug 9, 1895 in collision with str Russia in Detroit River off south end of Grosse Isle and abandoned to the underwriters as a constructive total loss. Downbound with cargo of iron ore. One life lost. Enrollment surrendered April 15, 1895.
Recovered and sold 1896 to Henry McMorran 9/9, B. W. Arnold, 3/9 and Alvin Neil 2/9, Port Huron MI (home port to Port Huron MI). Repaired at Marine City MI and returned to service.

Sold 1912 to Lake Erie & Quebec Transportation Co., Montreal QC (home port to Montreal QC) and renamed Sarnor
