Foundered Sept 2, 1905 off Huron Island, Lake Superior. All 7 aboard lost. Enroute from Duluth MN to Toledo and Sandusky OH with cargo of iron ore towed by str. Iosco (which was also lost with all hands), encountered heavy storm. Enrollment surrendered March 15, 1906.

My grandfather kept a small trip log of a trip on “Sch Olive Jeanette” from Ashtabula Harbor OH to Lake Superior & back to Fairport Harbor OH in Sept 1903 when he was 8 years old.
