Sold 1913 for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes.

Foundered March 26, 1914 off Barnegat NJ.  Enroute from Norfolk VA to Boston MA with cargo of coal, seams opened in gale and vessel sank.  Crew rescued by whaleback str. Bayport.
