Grounded Nov 7, 1887 on Flat Rock Reef, 2 ½ miles off Port Austin MI, Lake Huron in dense smoke.  No lives lost.  Downbound from Duluth MN to Buffalo NY with bagged flour.  Salvaged spring 1888 and repaired at Port Huron MI.

Sold 1899 to Lake Michigan & Lake Superior Transportation Co., Chicago IL (home port to Duluth MN)

Stranded Dec 4, 1906 near Michipicoten Harbour ON, Lake Superior in heavy storm.  No lives lost in the incident but several crew members were severely injured from exposure, resulting in the death of one of them.
