Foundered July 24, 1909 near Fire Island NY. Enroute from Baltimore MD to Boston MA with cargo of coal. Sprang leak in storm six miles off Fire Island lightship and sank. Crew took to the lifeboats and towed to the lightship by str. Winifred.
