Transferred 1899 to Davidson Steamship Co., Duluth MN, G. A. Tomlinson, Mgr. (home port to Duluth MN)

Foundered Sept 2, 1905 off Outer Island in the Apostle Islands, Lake Superior.  Enroute from Duluth MN to South Chicago IL with cargo of iron ore towed by str. Venezuela, her steering gear failed and her tow line to the steamer parted in a storm.  Her crew took to her lifeboat but the lifeboat was swamped by the seas.  Five lives lost of ten aboard.  Enrollment surrendered Jan 12, 1906.
