Stranded Oct 19, 1906 off 40-Mile Point, Lake Huron. Downbound with iron ore for Ashtabula OH, towing barge D. P. Rhodes, when stern ruptured and run ashore to save crew. One life lost. Barge also stranded but was released. Enrollment surrendered Oct 26, 1905.
