Burned July 19, 1881 at the Northern Pacific Railway dock at Duluth MN. Had arrived with cargo including whiskey and horses and caught fire during the early morning hours. Four lives of crew lost; all 18 passengers saved. Set adrift to save dock and was destroyed. Hull towed later into Lake Superior and was scuttled.
