Repowered 1954 with 2 reconditioned diesel engines

Sold 1967 to Cleveland Tankers Inc., Cleveland OH and renamed Venus  (2)

Damaged May 4, 1972 in explosion in the St. Lawrence Seaway.  One life lost (her captain).
Repaired and returned to service.

Damaged Jan 12, 1973 in explosion in her engine room after unloading her cargo at Kipling MI.
One life lost.

Sold for scrap 1975 to Acme Scrap & Metal Co., Ashtabula OH and scrapped at Ashtabula
