Entered service 1927

Fleet reincorporated 1949 in Delaware (home port to Wilmington DE)

Fleet merged July 1951 into parent United States Steel Corporation (home port to New York NY)

Transferred 1956 to Bradley Transportation Line, Detroit MI
Converted to self-unloader 1957 at Bay City MI by Defoe Shipbuilding Co. and renamed Cedarville.
Remeasured to 30.8 depth and 8575 GT, 6229 NT

Sunk May 7, 1965 in collision with MV Topdalsfjord in heavy fog in Straits of Mackinac. Enroute from Calcite MI to Gary IN with cargo of limestone.   Ten lives lost.
