(Vessel designed to carry lumber products but also had accommodations for 25-30 passengers)
Entered service Aug 31, 1890
Second deck added 1910. Depth increased to 23’6”. Remeasured to 1141 GT, 771 NT but registered depth not increased
Sold 1916 to A. B. Mackay, Hamilton ON
Sold 1917 to Canada Steamship Lines, Montreal QC. Converted to package freighter.
Renamed Mapleboro 1920
Renamed City of Montreal (2) 1925
Renamed Arvida 1926
Laid up at Kingston ON at end of 1931 season and did not operate again.
Sold 1937 to Manseau Shipyards, Sorel QC for scrapping. Towed to Sorel and scrapped there 1944.

Have really enjoyed this site as I researched the steamship Seguin. In the 1905-1909 timeframe, my grandmother was a passenger on the Seguin, and I have a dozen or so photos of the ship taken at various points in the voyage, including what I think is the Welland canal system.
The name Canadian Lake Line appears on the bow just under the name Seguin, but that owner is not listed in any of the research I have done so far.
