Grounded Oct 7, 1968 at Britt ON, Georgian Bay. Refloated and towed to Collingwood ON for repairs. Cargo tanks exploded Oct 10, injuring 11 men. Towed into Georgian Bay Oct 23 and scuttled off Christian Island.

I am looking for information on ships my Dad was Captain He lost his leg after a stroke in the spring of1946 in Green Bay, Wisconsin James Bailey Scobie Collingwood, Ontario. Born April 24, 1903 deceased July 6, 1954. I would like to find out about his life as Captain on the Great Lakes.
