I sailed on this vessel as an E D H in November 1948 At that time it was engaged in Home Trade in Great Britain We carried coal from Blythe to London
I was on her from Nov 2 1948 till Nov 26 1948
It was my first trip Home Trade and the first time I had to steer by quarter points
Open accommodation buy your own tucker and kerosine lamps in port if you let the donkey boiler go out
She was hard work , those Home Traders were hard men . i could not get out quick enough
