Entered service 1963. Crossed the Atlantic Ocean under her own power. Christened May 8, 1963 at Sept Isles QC and entered Great Lakes service.
Management of fleet transferred 1970 to Scott Misener Steamships Ltd., St. Catharines ON
Sold 1980 to Pioneer Shipping Ltd.,
Management transferred 1991 to Great Lakes Bulk Carriers, Winnipeg MB, a vessel operation and management joint venture of Canada Steamship Lines, Misener Shipping and Pioneer Shipping to operate their straight deck vessels, David K. Gardiner (COO of Misener), Mgr.
Great Lakes Bulk Carriers discontinued 1994 and vessel sold to Algoma Central Marine, Sault Ste. Marie and renamed Algoisle. Management transferred to Seaway Bulk Carriers, St. Catharines ON, a vessel operation and management joint venture of Algoma Central Railway and ULS Corporation to operate their straight deck vessels, ULS Corporation, Mgr.
Self-unloader and straight deck management organizations of these firms merged 2000 into a single firm, Seaway Marine Transport, St. Catharines ON
Did not operate seasons of 2001-2003
Sold for scrap 2010 to Turkish shipbreakers. Cleared Montreal QC Oct 5, 2010 towed by Greek tug Ionian Pelagos. Tow arrived Aliaga Turkey Nov 11, 2010.
