Vessel built for the Canadian government merchant marine under its World War I vessel construction program.  Each vessel was assigned to an individual firm identifying the name of the vessel.

Transferred 1920 to Canadian Signaller Ltd.

Participated in the fall grain trade on the Great Lakes beginning in 1922

Sold Oct 20, 1925 to Canada-Cuba Steamship Co. for off-Lakes service and left the Great Lakes

Renamed Emperor of Halifax 1925, Skjoldheim (Norway) 1929 and Polyana.

Sunk April 25, 1941 by German submarine U-103 enroute from Oban Scotland to Freetown, Sierra Leone.  All hands lost.
