Sold Oct 1921 by French Marine to Port Colborne & St. Lawrence Steamship Co., Port Colborne ON, a subsidiary of Maple Leaf Milling Co. (home port to Toronto ON) and returned to the Great Lakes
Enrolled Canadian at 250.1 x 43.0 x 17.1, 1729 GT, 1074 NT Can 146135
Entered Great Lakes service Nov 1921 clearing Port Colborne ON with cargo of flour for Buffalo NY
Renamed Benmaple 1922
Sunk Sept 1, 1936 in collison with ocean passenger str. Lafayette in fog in St. Lawrence River 200 miles below Quebec QC. Downbound from Montreal QC with cargo of flour for Halifax NS. One life lost.
