Sold 1972 to Upper Lakes Shipping Ltd., Toronto ON
Laid up Dec 10, 1981 at Toronto ON and did not operate again.
Sold for scrap 1986 to Taiwan shipbreakers. Fit out and sailed to Quebec QC. Cleared Lauzon QC Oct 27, 1986 with str. Red Wing towed by Canadian tug Canadian Viking. Tow transited the Panama Canal in Dec 1986 and arrived Kaohsiung Taiwan April 1987

My Brother Fred Brand worked As a Chef on boats on the Great Lakes many years ago. He would be 100 yrs old now. Just curious if any one would have known him.If so would love to hear from you.

My grandfather was captain of the frank a Sherman in the 1970’s alot of the crew came from WIARTOn Ontario you might find info at the propeller club now the meeting place in wiarton
