Firm failed 1964 and vessel sold July 30, 1964 at U. S. Marshal’s sale to Harold D. Caldwell, Chicago IL. Traded back to the mortgage holder, Security Peoples Trust Co., Erie PA for 4000 acres of Tennessee woodland.
Sold at auction July 28, 1967 to Seafarers International Union for use as a training vessel at Piney Point MD.
Foundered Sept 13, 1967 off Nantucket Island MA while being towed from Boston MA to Norfolk VA.
