Requisitioned 1918 by U. S. Shipping Board for off-Lakes service during World War I and left the Great Lakes.
Returned to former owners May 15, 1919 at ocean dimensions:
18.3 depth and 1899 GT, 1141 NT
Stranded Oct 1926 off Cap d’Espoir, Gulf of St. Lawrence. No crew losses. Enroute from Lorain OH to Chaleur Bay QC with coal when she encountered a 60 miles-per-hour gale rounding Cap d’Espoir. Waves swamped her, stranding her about 6 miles off shore. The crew stayed aboard until Oct 28, when she was abandoned as a total loss as a result of battering by succeeding storms.

the A.D.Mactier , if anyone can help please do.
I have her propeller and some photos but not much else.

As i understand from locals and photos she was much closer to the cliff at
Cap d’Espoir near the lighthouse site. And that is where she stayed .

Can you tell me more about A.D. MacTier? Is he the same individual who worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway Company in Ontario, Canada and for whom the village of MacTier was named?
