My Grandfather, Morris West served as a Fireman on this boat. His ship was on the water when a storm took a number of boats. The Captain saved the ship, by placing it behind a island. It was a tough life on the boats.
My Grandfather Morris West was a Firemen on this boat in 1900’s. He said his Captain had hide their boat behind a island and they turned around to find a number of boat gone (sunk in a bad storm). His said work was hard and sometimes dangerous. Life was tough.
