The railroads were required under the provisions of the Panama Canal Act of 1912 to divest themselves of competing vessels.  Great Lakes Transit Corporation was organized to own and operate these vessels.

Renamed H. A. Scandrett 1928

Requisitioned 1942 by U. S. Maritime Commission for off-Lakes service during World War II and left the Great Lakes.  Towed down the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers to the Gulf of Mexico.

Renamed Hamina (Finland) 1947

Scrapped Belgium 1954 (double bottom used as a mooring in the harbor at Flushing, Netherlands until being finally scrapped in 1982).
