Entered service June 12, 1908 clearing Detroit MI light to Cleveland OH for a cargo of coal.

Permanent enrollment at Buffalo NY July 15, 1908 (#4)

Lengthened 55’ and converted to self-unloader 1942 at Manitowoc WI by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Co.
Remeasured to 475.0 x 52.2 x 24.0, 4939 GT, 3853 NT

Sold 1962 to Leadale Shipping Ltd., N. J. Reoch, Mgr. (home port to Hamilton Bermuda) and renamed Avondale.

Boilers converted 1967 to oil firing.

Enrollment transferred to Canada 1974     Can 316352     (home port Hamilton ON)

Condemned for carriage of cargo by American Bureau of Shipping Nov 27, 1975 while trying to load cargo of soya beans at Toledo OH.  Sailed to Port Colborne ON and laid up.

Sold for scrap 1976 to Marine Salvage Ltd., Port Colborne ON.  Forward cabins destroyed Aug 26, 1978 by fire set by vandals.  Resold June 1979 to Spanish shipbreakers.  Cleared Quebec QC July 6, 1979 with str. Ferndale towed by Polish tug Jantar.  Tow arrived Castellon Spain Aug 3, 1979
