Built at Sunderland England by William Doxford & Sons Ltd., Hull 235
Launched 1895

315’6” LOA, 297’ LBP, 40’ beam, 24’1” depth
1 deck, whaleback-inspired turret vessel, coal-fired boilers, quadruple expansion engine, 1000 IHP

Employed in ocean service.  Transferred 1900 to service on the lower St. Lawrence River.

Transferred to Great Lakes service by her owners, Canadian Lake & Ocean Navigation Co., Toronto ON
297.0 x 40.0 x 21.5, 2202 GT, 1386 NT     Br 105718
Cut in two at Lauzon QC by Davie Shipbuilding & Repairing Co. and towed to Buffalo NY, where she was rejoined by Buffalo Dry Dock Co.

Entered Great Lakes service 1906

Transferred spring 1915 to off-Lakes service during World War I and left the Great Lakes.  Cut in two at Ashtabula OH by Great Lakes Engineering Works and towed to tidewater, where she was rejoined.

Sunk June 10, 1917 by German submarine U-155 southwest of Ireland, Atlantic Ocean.
