Sold 1969 to Sea-Land Service Inc. for trade in to U. S. Maritime Commission on vessels in the reserve fleet.  Resold to Spanish shipbreakers.  Cleared Quebec QC Sept 3, 1969 with str. Buckeye towed by German tug Fairplay X.  Broke away from tow Nov 2, 1969 and stranded near La Corona Spain, Atlantic Ocean.  Balance of tow arrived Santander Spain Nov 4, 1969.
