Launched Oct 4, 1902

256’ LOA, 241’7” LBP, 43’ beam, 25’6” depth
2 decks, hatches @ 24’, coal-fired boilers, triple expansion engine, 1000 IHP
Built by the shipyard on its own account as Tadenac.  Sold upon completion to St. Lawrence & Chicago Steam Navigation Co. and renamed The Iroquois.

Sold July 27, 1916 to Canada Steamship Lines, Montreal QC

Transferred 1916 to off-Lakes service during World War I and left the Great Lakes.  Later sold.

Renamed Colorado 1920 and Dornoch 1922

Sold 1922 to Mathews Steamship Co., Toronto ON, renamed Brookton and returned to the  Great Lakes
Reenrolled Canadian at 252.5 x 43.2 x 22.3, 2286 GT, 1694 NT

Fleet went into receivership 1931.  G. T. Clarkson, Toronto ON appointed receiver.

Laid up fall 1931 at Toronto ON (later at Port Dalhousie ON) and did not operate again for this or the successor fleet.

Fleet sold late 1933 to Colonial Steamships Ltd., Port Colborne ON, Scott Misener, Mgr.

Sold 1940 to Diamond Steamship Co., Owen Sound ON, George Hindman, Mgr. (home port to Owen Sound ON) and renamed George Hindman (1)

Sold 1952 to Reoch Steamship Co., and renamed Brookdale (1)

Sold for scrap 1966 to Steel Company of Canada.  Towed to Hamilton ON and scrapped.
