Stranded Dec 8, 1927 on Keweenaw Point, Lake Superior. Travelling upbound light from Owen Sound ON to Fort William ON, steering gear failed in storm off the Canadian shore. Blown across the lake until she fetched up on Keweenaw Point six hours later. Hull broke in two and fire started in her coal bunker, which smoldered until Jan 1928. Hull scrapped in 1942.
